Kurginyan explains why the Ukrainian military is attacking nuclear power plant in Zaporozhye

Ukraine needs the strikes on the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant (NPP) to break the normal rules of the game, as it has already lost by them, explained philosopher, political scientist and leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan in an interview with BelTA, published on the news agency’s YouTube channel on September 3.

Kurginyan noted that Ukraine is using an “Anglo-Saxon trick,” similar to when a chess player takes the board instead of playing by the rules and beats his opponent on the head. The political scientist noted that as part of Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine, strikes by the Ukrainian military at the Zaporozhye NPP were a similar example of breaking the rules.

As for ‘not by the rules’ – that is exactly what this very nuclear power plant is. Why? First of all, it gives a lot and the Ukrainian pseudo-economy, which is completely out of breath, strongly depends on it,” noted the political scientist.

He specified that Ukraine mainly exists at the expense of foreign assistance, but the importance of Zaporozhye NPP for Ukraine doesn’t deny it.

Secondly, some abnormal eccentric scenario can be played inside this case and change the rules of the game at the expense of this scenario. I don’t want to say it would, but if there were, God forbid, some major nuclear trouble there, it’s clear that you can’t play by the normal rules anymore. Oh, the rules have changed,” he explained.

The Zaporozhye NPP is currently under the control of the Russian military. Ukrainian army have repeatedly conducted shelling and drone attacks on the territory of the NPP, as well as tried to seize it, using amphibious assaults, but suffered a crushing defeat.
