The DPR and LPR units and the Russian Armed Forces took the villages of Zaitsevo and Dacha under their control, the official Telegram channel of the DPR territorial defense headquarters reported on August 19.
“Currently, the DPR and LPR units with fire support of the Russian Armed Forces liberated 270 towns and villages, including Zaitsevo and Dacha,” the report reads.
According to the department’s summary, as of August 19, 12 towns and villages came under fire as a result of shelling of DPR territory by Ukrainian punitive forces. As a result, five people were killed, 23 civilians were wounded, 21 houses and three civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged.
