The Russian elite expects that the game in Ukraine will be played according to the rules, but this will not happen, said philosopher, political scientist and leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan in an interview with BelTA, published on the news agency’s YouTube channel on September 3.
He spoke about the main thing to understand about the military special operation of Russian troops in Ukraine.
“It seems to me that the main thing to understand is that it is actually a gradual, but quite unstoppable advance of allied troops that are liberating these settlements,” the analyst said.
According to him, people don’t understand well enough what modern warfare is like in population settlements, where the shelters are made of very thick reinforced concrete, and they are very difficult to capture.
“Our expeditionary corps, as I call it, conducting this operation, is smaller than the Ukrainian army. Together with the allied forces, it is still less, and when attacking it is supposed to be more. One might have assumed that they would either be completely stuck or whatever, but that is not the case. It all moves in only one direction – monotonously, without any hurry, and there are no other significant movements,” said Kurginyan.
According to him, somewhere in the fall, after the establishment of the cauldrons in Donbass, it will become clear that under normal rules Ukraine has lost this conflict.
“I have always insisted that as soon as the normal rules of the game indicate this, there will be no recognition of the defeat, and abnormal rules will be applied – any rules. Basically, this is such an Anglo-Saxon trick. If I lose at chess, I take the chessboard, and hit you with it on the head, or it turns out that there, on the chessboard, is a poisonous scorpion crawling…” – said the political scientist.
According to him, no one plays by the rules on the other side.
“We have a great expectation that everything will be by the rules. But it won’t be by the rules, for sure,” Kurginyan concluded.
