Some observations about our Turkish neighbors

14.04.2022, Moscow.

I don’t want to link these events, but they are in a certain way disturbing.

The other day, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu announced that the UK had decided to lift the ban on arms exports to Turkey. Why do you think that is?

Because of Russia’s special operation in Ukraine, of course. But the question immediately arises: why does Turkey need weapons if it has a mediating role in this conflict?

The UK is not the only country; the foreign minister also said that Canada is also preparing to follow UK’s example.

And the next day a pro-government newspaper proudly wrote that France was also ready to take the same step and that Germany would simply have no moves left if Ankara and Washington strengthened their defense ties.

That is to say, Western countries suddenly began to lift the embargoes imposed on Turkey for various transgressions. Why the hell not?

And now event number two. It happened two days before Cavusoglu announced the resumption of Western arms deliveries to his country.

The Turkish defense minister, who is worried about the future of the Black Sea, especially now because of the whole situation in Ukraine, decided to get together with his colleagues from the Black Sea countries. Heads of Defense Ministries of Ukraine, Georgia, Bulgaria, Romania and … Poland!!!

Yes, suddenly Russia was excluded from the list of these countries, and Poland became a country near the Black Sea. Is the head of the Turkish Ministry of Defense bad with geography?

Isn’t this an obvious friendship against Russia, no? An alarming scenario is coming out if we take the news about the supplies of the weapons by the West.
