Russian Foreign Ministry states that there is a risk of transportation of nuclear material to Ukraine

Ukrainian authorities may obtain nuclear materials from other countries for chemical provocations and weapons development, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Oleg Syromolotov said in an interview with RIA Novosti on April 13.

“One cannot rule out a scenario in which nuclear material can be brought to Ukraine from third countries,” Syromolotov said.

According to the deputy head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Ukrainian Nazis are ready to carry out provocations with chemical weapons against the Ukrainian population, similar to those carried out by terrorists in Syria.

“We consider the threat of chemical terrorism by fascist nationalists and the Ukrainian army units under the patronage of the current Kiev regime to be quite probable,” Syromolotov said.

Syromolotov recalled that provocations with chemical agents in Syria were carried out by groups “backed by the United States and its NATO allies.”

He also said that the Kiev regime and Nazi groups in Ukraine had plans for chemical provocations in Donbass, of which the Russian Defense Ministry repeatedly informed.

On February 24, the Russian army and the People’s Militias of the Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics launched a special operation to demilitarize and denazify Ukraine.
