Under the pressure of global circumstances Europe will no be able to remain the same, said political scientist, the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on the Great Game program on Channel One.
“It will not remain the same as it is, given such a ‘mess’ (the current confrontation between Russia and the West). This ‘mess’ is too big to leave everything in the same state,” Kurginyan said.
According to Kurginyan, the United States will continue to undermine the economic potential of Europe as one of its main geopolitical competitors, provoking by that some dynamic processes in European politics.
“It is interesting to see which forces in these conditions will gradually begin to come to power, and what they will do with the European process in general,” Kurginyan said.
“And won’t this whole American adventure end by the creation of Mittel-Europe or something like that, a Europe with Germany in its core?”
