Kurginyan explains second phase of Russian special operation in Ukraine

02.04.2022, Moscow.

The second phase of the special operation for the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine implies the defeat of the Donbass group of the Ukrainian army, said political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on March 30 on The Great Game program on Channel One.

“As long as it [the group] exists, no active operations near Kiev and Chernigov can be even discussed,” the political scientist noted.

“Therefore, yes, indeed, the second part [of the special operation]… We have stretched their forces, we have destroyed their basic infrastructure, and now we are gathering this encirclement. When this encirclement is destroyed, everything will either end or proceed to the third stage of the special operation.”

In general, according to Kurginyan, the Russian army acts “brilliantly” in the special operation, and the Russian servicemen have shown that they are “highly motivated, courageous, highly professional, and patient.”

“The Russian army has been showing a kind of inexorability, consistency, and this will only end with its decisive victory unless it is interfered,” the leader of Essence of Time concluded.

On February 24, President of Russia Vladimir Putin initiated a special operation for the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine in response to a request for help from the republics of Donbass.

The Russian Armed Forces have absolute air supremacy. Large parts of the Ukrainian army are either de-organized or encircled by the DPR and LPR People’s Militia and the Russian army.
