Kurginyan: The Russian Armed Forces could take Mariupol in half an hour if they did not care about civilians

02.04.2022, Moscow.

The Russian Armed Forces are capable of delivering the final blow to the Nazi squads in the city of Mariupol in the matter of “half an hour”, but they are trying to save civilian lives, said philosopher, political scientist, the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on March 30 on the Great Game program on Channel One.

“I believe that with the use of modern weapons it would take half an hour to finish off the left overs of the Nazi battalions in Mariupol. But, there are many civilians,” said Kurginyan.

Nazis from the Azov Battalion (organization banned in Russia) hold thousands of Mariupol residents hostage and shoot those who try to leave the city.

The Russian Armed Forces are engaged in intense battles with Nazi detachments, while saving the lives of civilians and evacuating them from the city of Mariupol.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the launch of a special operation to demilitarize and denazify Ukraine in response to a request for help from the republics of Donbass.
