NATO’s plan regarding Ukraine included blocking the Russian peacekeepers in Transnistria from the Romanian territory, former prime minister of Ukraine Nikolay Azarov said on March 4.
According to Azarov, the West also planned to block Kaliningrad with the Polish army.
Nikolay Azarov was Ukrainian prime minister during Yanukovich’s presidency. On January 22, 2014, he called the “Euro-maidan ultra-right militants” terrorists. Shortly afterwards he retired, and he left the country in February 2014 fearing physical liquidation.
Since 2015 he is the leader of the Ukraine Salvation Committee.
In Ukraine, he is under criminal investigation since 2014.
