Russian intelligence service: NATO moving foreign militants to Ukraine through Poland

04.03.2022, Moscow.

The security services of the NATO countries are moving terrorist militants to Ukraine, the press service of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (Russian: SVR) reported on March 4.

“The information coming to the SVR indicates that in the recent weeks the US and UK security services have made the Polish territory a ‘logistic hub’ for the supplies of arms and militants, including ones from Middle East, to Ukraine,” the intelligence report says.

On February 24, President of Russia Vladimir Putin, after a request for help from the authorities of the Donetsk and the Lugansk people’s republics, initiated a military special operation in Ukraine for the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine.

On February 28, President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky signed a decree allowing visa-free entrance to Ukraine for foreign militants willing to fight in the Ukrainian “international legion.”

“From March 1, for the period of martial law until President issues an appropriate decision, implement visa-free regime for foreign nationals willing to join the International Legion of Ukraine,” the related document says.
