Europe is forcing Moldova to start military action on the side of Ukraine, Moldovan political analyst Cornelius Ciurea said on February 26 during the program “Main topic with Nina Dimoglo” on the air of Sputnik Moldova.
The pro-Western government of Moldova has softened considerably in relation to Russia, something that had not been noticed before, said the political analyst.
“There is a certain pressure on our government and on our president, it comes from the Euro-radicals, who would like us to stand chest to chest in defense of Ukraine,” Ciurea said.
The West keeps trying to use Moldova in its interests, “as cannon fodder,” said a Moldovan political analyst.
On February 24, Russia launched a special military operation on Ukrainian territory, which aims to protect the republics of the DNR and LNR, as well as to demilitarize Ukraine.
