The explosion in the skies over Kiev on Friday night was a mistake by the Ukrainian air defense, which attacked its own plane, the Russian Defense Ministry said, TASS reported on February 25.
The report reads that on the night of February 25, the Ukrainian air defense shot down its own fighter jet over Kiev by mistake.
The Ukrainian State Emergencies Service reported that debris from the downed plane fell on a two-story private house in Kiev on Sadovaya Street, and a fire broke out because of the falling debris. None of the residents were injured.
The Russian Army is conducting a special military operation to demilitarize and denationalize Ukraine. Also ensure the liberation of the territories of the DPR and LPR from the occupation troops of Ukraine.
