Troops of the Donetsk People’s Republic have broken through the prepared defenses of the nationalist battalions and reached Volnovakha, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said at a briefing on February 25.
The Russian military also blocked the cities of Sumy and Konotop during a special military operation to denationalize Ukraine.
The Defense Ministry also reported that the Russian army does not fire on populated areas, carrying out spot strikes only on military infrastructure.
