Russian Foreign Ministry: Ukraine itself has refused to negotiate with Russia

The Ukrainian side has postponed a decision on the issue of negotiations until tomorrow, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said at a briefing on February 25.

“The Ukrainian side refused to negotiate. Representatives of the Kiev regime offered to postpone the issue to tomorrow,” Zakharova said.

Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed his agreement to send a delegation to the talks in Minsk. In response, the Ukrainian side responded by offering Warsaw as a negotiating venue, and then broke off communication.

On February 24, Putin announced a special military operation to denazify and demilitarize the territory of Ukraine, also promote the liberation of the territory of the DPR and LPR.
