The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) sent military reinforcements to the Al-Tanf area, a Rossa Primavera News Agency’s source in Syria said on June 14.
“The Syrian army sent large reinforcements to the Syrian desert in the Al-Tanf area in eastern Homs,” the source said. The reinforcements are sent to fight terrorists in the region, the source added.
Al-Tanf area in Syria is located on the border with Iraq and Jordan. It is illegally occupied by the military contingent of the US army.
The Rukban refugee camp is located in this zone. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the US has provoked such bad living conditions in the camp that its residents are forced to join terrorist groups.
The United States refuses to disband the camp and send the refugees to their permanent places of residence. The Americans insist that the camp should be financed from the Syrian budget.
