The Ukrainian army violated the ceasefire in Donbass twice in the past 24 hours, a representative of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) at the Joint Centre for Ceasefire Control and Coordination (JCCCC) said to reporters on May 5.
“Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire twice,” the JCCCC representative said.
He specified that the enemy opened fire on the outskirts of Donetsk. The Ukrainian army fired 10 artillery shells and six grenades.
On May 4, the Donetsk People’s Republic reported that Ukrainian military violated the ceasefire fire four times.
A JCCCC representative stressed that the DPR tried to use the ceasefire coordination mechanism to establish the ceasefire. However, in response to these attempts, the Ukrainian side responded that it did not confirm the facts of the violations.
