The Ukrainian military shelled the western outskirts of Donetsk, the Donetsk News Agency informed citing the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) representative to the Joint Centre for Ceasefire Control and Coordination.
According to the information, the enemy used large-caliber mortars. The fire came from the area of Krasnogorovka, which is located on the territories occupied by Kiev.
Staromilkhaylovka village in the west of Donetsk was shelled. “Six 120mm mortar shells were fired. There was no information about casualties or destruction,” the statement reads.
Earlier, the west of Donetsk was shelled with large-caliber machine guns.
Currently, another round of negotiations of the contact group on the settlement of the situation in Donbass is held. The talks are taking place in the format of videoconferences.
