Kurginyan: Orders to kill heads of state are becoming the norm

22.04.2021, Moscow.

President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko’s report about a failed assassination attempt against him ordered by the US government means that such directives are becoming the norm, political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on April 18 on the Sunday Evening with Vladimir Solovyov program on the Russia One channel.

“Suddenly it turned out that we live in a world where papers are signed not against Qasem Soleimani, but against a head of state, of a European state. Previously it was like ‘Oh God, they killed a general!’ Now it looks like ‘Well, okay, they killed a president.’ This has become a regular concept and part of the daily agenda,” the political scientist concluded.

Kurginyan noted, “Lukashenko is literally saying that only Biden could sign a paper to kill him.” The analyst stressed that this poses a question whether “a period of direct-action papers” has begun.

“Our security services played a role, which they would not have done if it had been too extraordinary. Post-modernism in the Russian security services has not reached the level it has in other places. If Lukashenko’s words were just an odd move, the security services would have stepped aside a little. But they participated. This means that they understand that it is serious,” the leader of Essence of Time explained.

Previously, the President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko reported that an assassination attempt against him and a kidnapping attempt on his family members were prevented with the help of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB). According to Lukashenko, the assassination was ordered by the US government, and the FSB published a video with the perpetrators discussing assassination of the Belarusian leader in order to commit a coup d’etat on May 9, 2021.
