60mm mortars were used during the shelling of the DPR capital outskirts as a result of which a civilian was wounded. This is the type of mortars used by NATO countries, military correspondent and the author of the WarGonzo project Semyon Pegov reported on his Telegram channel on April 22.
In special video footage from the sites of mortar shell hits, a military correspondent of the WarGonzo project Dmitry Astrakhan demonstrated typical craters and mortar fragments as evidence that the Ukrainian side fired with 60mm mortars used by the NATO armies.
In addition to a civilian who was wounded into his head after a mortar shell hit his yard, his dog was also wounded. The civilian was admitted to the nearest hospital.
According to the correspondent, the fire came from Maryinka, from the positions of the 28th Brigade of the Ukrainian army, which is notorious for its strikes on civilian areas in Donbass. Reportedly, similar mortars were used by Ukrainian punitive troops before, although the denied those facts.
On April 21, observers living in the territory of the Lugansk People’s Republic occupied by the Ukrainian army reported that the Ukrainian side deployed eight Tochka-U tactical missile systems to the separation line in Donbass.
