Russian President Vladimir Putin thanked US President Donald Trump in a telephone conversation on December 29 for the exclusive information provided by the special services, which allowed preventing terrorist attacks in Russia. This is reported on the official website of the press service of the Russian president.
The information is related to the planned terrorist attacks in Saint-Petersburg – in the Kazan Cathedral and other crowded places in the northern capital.
Putin asked Trump to convey his thanks to the CIA director and other members of the US foreign intelligence.
Putin assured Trump that any information about planned terrorist actions in the US territory, obtained by the Russian security services will be immediately transferred to American colleagues.
The two presidents have agreed to continue and develop the existing anti-terrorist dialogue.
