The first humanitarian convoy in 2018 from Russia arrives in Donetsk

The first in the current year and the 73rd total humanitarian aid convoy of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations has arrived in Donetsk, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Donetsk People’s Republic informed on January 25, Donetsk News Agency (DAN) reports.

Unloading takes place at two warehouses in the capital of the Donetsk People’s Republic, the Ministry’s press service said.

Earlier, Rossa Primavera reported that the convoy is reaching the Russian border checkpoints “Donetsk” and “Matveyev Kurgan” for customs clearance. The convoy is carrying more than 400 tons of humanitarian cargo for residents of the Donetsk People’s Republic and the Lugansk People’s Republic. The supplies include food kits for children.
