Only the US external control could save collapsing Ukrainian statehood, journalist Dmitry Gordon said on air of 112 Ukraine TV channel on November 3, Politnavigator informed.
The journalist is convinced that the corruption in Ukraine has reached the scale when the country can’t deal with it by itself.
“Sometimes, I think about breaking the vicious circle, and for now I can see only a single way out. Again, I will say now, and many will start to loathe, only the external control, though not European, because Europe is very busy with its own problems. Only the US’ external control, I don’t see any other way. We can’t deal with it by ourselves, we can’t”, Gordon said.
After coup d’etat in Ukraine in 2014 and the following severing of relations with Russia, the Ukrainian economy collapsed catastrophically. Foreign loans and tranches, which are the only means to save Ukraine from bankruptcy, are being provided under the condition of meeting stiff requirements of implementing economic, political, and social reforms.
