The Ukrainian army intensified fire on the Yasinovataya and Donetsk parts of the front; the village of Krutaya Balka was heavily shelled, a source in the Donetsk People’s Republic People’s Militia (DPR PM) informed a Rossa Primavera News Agency reporter on June 5.
On the Gorlovka direction, the Ukrainian military shelled the villages of Zaytsevo and Golmovsky. There is no information on the destructions and victims among the civilian population.
On the Donetsk direction, the Ukrainian army shelled the villages of Krutaya Balka, Yakovlevka, and Spartak, the area of Volvo-Centre, the Kievsky district in Donetsk. 6 civilians were injured in Krutaya Balka by mortar fire. The Ukrainian side opened artillery fire on the outskirts of Yasinovataya and the area of the “Yasinovataya” checkpoint. Trench combat of high intensity were underway on this part of the front. The Kiev military utilized heavy artillery, mortars, grenade launchers of various calibers, and small arms.
On June 4, the Ukrainian army violated the ceasefire 44 times. The enemy shelled 18 towns and villages of DPR. One civilian, a woman, was killed, and her 9-years old son sustained shrapnel wounds as a result of the mortar shelling of Trudovskiye. 7 houses in Staromikhaylovka, Kominternovo, and the Petrovsky district of Donetsk were damaged by Ukrainian military’s artillery fire.
