On the day of Easter celebration, the intensity of fire at the contact line decreased, but the Ukrainian army continues to shell the territory of Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), a source in the Donetsk People’s Republic People’s Militia (DPR PM) informed a Rossa Primavera News Agency reporter on April 16th.
The Ukrainian side is provoking combat in the suburbs of the village of Zaytsevo in the north of Gorlovka, in Avdeevka industrial zone, in the area of former Donetsk airport, as well as near the village of Trudovskiye in the west of the DPR capital. The situation remains tense in the area of Dokuchaevsk and near the village of Kominternovo in the south of DPR. The Ukrainian military are using 120mm and 82mm mortars, tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, and heavy machine guns.
According to DPR PM Command, 2 servicemen of the Republic were wounded.
During April 15th, the Ukrainian army violated ceasefire 35 times. The Ukrainian military shelled 13 towns and villages of DPR. One house on Mamin-Sibiryak street in Trudovskiye, the Petrovsky district of Donetsk was damaged.
