The Ukrainian army is increasing the intensity of the shelling along the contact line in violation of the “Easter” ceasefire agreement, a source in the Donetsk People’s Republic People’s Militia (DPR PM) informed a Rossa Primavera News Agency reporter on April 4th.
Trench combat continues on the Gorlovka direction. The Ukrainian military are attacking the DPR PM positions in the area of Golmovsky, Zaytsevo, and Zhovanka with small arms and automatic grenade launchers. Moreover, the Ukrainian army is actively fortifying their positions on this part of the front.
The situation is tense on the Donetsk segment of the contact line. The Ukrainian side is provoking combat in the area of Avdeevka industrial zone and former Donetsk airport. The Ukrainian army is using heavy artillery and mortars of various calibers.
The Ukrainian army continues to shell and provoke trench combat in the area of Dokuchaevsk and along the Mariupol direction of the front.
According to recent information, during April 3rd, the Ukrainian army violated ceasefire 51 times. 22 towns and villages of DPR came under Ukrainian’s artillery fire. 3 houses were damaged in Dokuchaevsk, one house, several outbuildings, and a gas pipeline were damaged in the village of Yasnoye. One civilian, a 43-years old man, was killed in the mortar shelling of the village of Kominternovo.
