Russian Defense Ministry: Syrian aviation did not attack Khan Shaykhun with chemical weapon

Western mass media reports of a chemical attack on the town of Khan Shaykhun in the Idlib province by Russian or Syrian jets do not reflect reality, the official spokesman of Russian Defense Ministry Igor Konashenkov stated on April 5th as Interfax News Agency informs.
In fact, on April 4th, Syrian government aviation struck a depot of the militants, where chemical munitions had been stored.
“According to the data from the airspace control system, yesterday, from 11.30 AM to 12.30 PM (local time), Syrian aviation struck a large depot and military hardware in the area of the eastern suburb of Khan Shaykhun. The workshops producing high explosive bombs with chemical weapons agents were located on the grounds of this depot. Chemical munitions were transported from this largest munition depot to the territory of Iraq. Both international organizations and the official authorities of this country repeatedly confirmed their [chemical munitions] usage by the terrorists,” stated in the report of Konashenko.

Aid from Antifascists in Germany

We met the group of the antifascists from Germany, who came in Donetsk People’s Republic for a brief visit. The comrades from Germany brought humanitarian aid, visited Donetsk, Gorlovka, Yasinovataya, and Makeevka. One of the places they visited was the Republican Youth Public Dormitory, which serves as a shelter for orphans who have already left their orphanage, and for single mothers with their children.
Empathetic German citizens, who feel all the danger of the fascist revenge in Ukraine, collected money to help Donbass. Part of this money was handed over to the residents of this dormitory, who have found themselves in dire straits. It is possible that such aid from Germany will now come on a regular basis.

Representatives of OSCE and JCCC came under Ukrainian army’s shelling

Ukrainian army increases intensity of the shelling along front line in DPR

Trench combat continues on the Gorlovka direction. The Ukrainian military are attacking the DPR PM positions in the area of Golmovsky, Zaytsevo, and Zhovanka with small arms and automatic grenade launchers.
