LPR: OSCE does not posses full information on the events near Debaltsevo

23.12.2016, Donbass.

Representatives of OSCE Special Monitorin Mission (SMM) ceased working in the area of the so-called Svetlodarsk salient near Debaltsevo and do not posses full information on the events occurring there, LPR People’s Militia Spokesman Andrei Marochko said today during his briefing in LuganskInformCenter.

The major noted that the “reaction of international monitors to the events on Svetlodarsk salient surprises.”

“The first Principal Deputy Chief Monitor of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine Alexander Hug stated that the Mission’s patrols ceased their work in this area and at this moment do not posses full information on what is happening there,” Marochko said.

“Such indifference is unacceptable for an international monitoring mission meant to control the ceasefire adherence, whose work is based on the principles of impartiality and humanism,” the Spokesman of the Republic’s People’s Militia emphasized.

He earlier informed that Kiev’s military continue to attack People’s Militia positions on Debaltsevo direction.

Units of Armed Forces of Ukraine, with the support of artillery, launched breakthrough attempts in the area of Debaltsevo on December 18. According to LPR People’s Militia, up to 40 Ukrainian militants were killed and 50 were injured. Four servicemen of the Republic were killed, five were injured.
