The situation on the Gorlovka direction continues to escalate. Trench combat continued in the northern western outskirts of Gorlovka throughout all of 24 hours with brief interruptions. Periodically shootouts occur in the south-west of the city. The enemy fires all types of weaponry from tanks and artillery to small arms.
During the night Kirovsky and Petrovsky districts of Donetsk were shelled during the night by mortars from the side occupied by Armed Forces of Ukraine. In the middle of the day Yakovlevka and Mineralnoye were shelled by the enemy’s artillery. Combat with the use of heavy artillery, mortars, armored vehicles and small arms periodically erupts in the area of Avdeevka industrial zone.
During the night two apartment buildings in Dokuchaevsk on Likholetova street were damaged by artillery shelling. Walls were damaged, windows were blasted out, there were no casualties. An electrical substation was damaged at dawn in Elenovka as a result of the explosion of an artillery shell, 165 end users lost access to electricity supply.
There were no reports of shelling and combat from the Mariupol direction.
DPR recon informs that a large force of the enemy is building up on the Gorlvoka direction, including four battalion tactical groups from the ranks of 25th, 80th, 95th and 79th brigades. Positions of six “Gvozdika” self-propelled artillery guns were registered near Krasnogorovka. 10 tanks and up to 150 servicemen of the enemy arrived to Novotroitskoye. It became known that, as a result of a shootout between the soldiers of 92nd brigade of Armed Forces of Ukraine and Aidar Nazi battalion militants on November 5, the enemy lost 9 people dead and 13 wounded on both sides.
According to updated information, on November 6 Armed Forces of Ukraine fired at frontline areas of the Republic 754 times, including 400 times by mortars, artillery and tank guns. The enemy fired at Zaytsevo, Shyrokaya Balka, Zheleznaya Balka near Gorlovka; Yasinovataya, Staromikhailovka, Zhabichevo near Donetsk; Elenovka and Dokuchaevsk; Grigorovka, Leninskoye and Sakhanka in the south of DPR. 5 houses were damaged. One serviceman of the Republic was killed, another was injured by shrapnel.
