The intensity of shelling of Donetsk People’s Republic’s territory by Ukrainian army increased significantly. The situation is getting more tense on the Mariupol direction of the frontline.

The situation on the northern outskirts of Gorlovka remains tense. Ukrainian army fires small arms and automatic grenade launchers at DPR army’s positions. The activity of Ukrainian recon UAVs is registered.

Yasinovataya was heavily shelled last night by artillery, five houses were damaged, one of them burned down. Besides that, Petrovsky district of Donetsk, Trudovskie and Aleksandrovka villages were shelled. During the day the enemy shelled Avdeevka industrial zone by 10 120mm mortar shells.

The situation on the Mariupol direction is boiling. Today Ukrainian army massively shelled Sosnovskoye, Kominternovo, Novaya Tavriya, Leninskoye and Sakhanka villages. Leninskoye village alone was hit by approximately 50 122mm artillery shells. A large number of houses is damaged. Two women were injured, one of them died in the hospital.

Ukrainian “volunteers” in the social networks report Ukrainian army suffered casualties in the south. It is reported that only on one day 11 injured members of the punitive forces were hospitalized to Mariupol, some were killed.

DPR recon reports deployment of two tanks, three “Gvozdika” self-propelled artillery guns and five trucks with ammunition on the territory of a milk farm in Severnoye village near Donetsk occupied by Ukrainian army. Positions of two 120mm mortars are spotted in Primorskoye village on the Mariupol direction. A column of four tanks and over 10 trucks with ammunition arrived, as well as seven “Valkyrie” drones, arrived to Avdeevka.

DPR Operations Command informs that one serviceman of the Republic was injured.

According to updated information, Ukrainian army violated the ceasefire 492 times on October 10, using artillery to shell frontline areas of DPR 334 times.
