The MI6 British intelligence service is ready to provide financing to “independent media” in Ukraine in order to “protect freedom and human rights,” the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky said on October 13 on the air of the Ukraine-24 TV channel.
“We had a meeting in the MI6 office,” Zelensky said. According to the Ukrainian president, what the country needs most is “independent media, which protect our sovereignty and territorial integrity today, in the time of war.”
According to Zelensky, MI6 officials said that they are ready to provide financing to “independent media” in Ukraine, and they look forward to appropriate proposals from the Ukrainian authorities.
Zelensky welcomes “media that would not be financed by certain groups. Because they (MI6 ― Rossa Primavera News Agency) say that this is indeed a destabilization in the country, and this demand takes place not only in Ukraine, it is global.”
