The inauguration of the head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Denis Pushilin has been finalized, Donetsk News Agency reports on November 20th.
According to the report, the ceremony took place at the Donbass Opera. Almost 1,000 people were present at the inauguration, including guests from the European Union, Russia, and the Lugansk People’s Republic.
Pushilin swore to abide by the Constitution of the Republic and serve the people faithfully. After the oath, Pushilin officially assumed the office of the Head of the DPR for the next five years.
The elections of the Head of the DPR took place in the city of Donetsk on November 11th. Pushilin won the majority among five candidates and gained 60.85% of the vote.
