Intensity of fire at the front line does not decrease, the Ukrainian military are shelling the suburbs of Donetsk, Gorlovka, and Yasinovataya, as well as the communities in the south of Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), a source in the Donetsk People’s Republic People’s Militia (DPR PM) informed a Rossa Primavera News Agency reporter on March 28th.
Ukrainian artillery opened fire on the village of Bayrak in the north-western suburbs of Gorlovka. One apartment building on Severodonetsk street was damaged. Fire was opened with heavy 152mm artillery. One of the shells struck the area near the local school. Moreover, active trench combat is underway on the Gorlovka part of the front. The villages of Zaytsevo, Dolomitnoye, and Zheleznaya Balka came under Ukrainian military’s fire.
The Ukrainian side is provoking trench combat in the area of Avdeevka industrial zone, in the area of “Volvo-Center”, and near Spartak. The suburbs of Yasinovataya and the villages of Yakovlevka and Trudovskiye came under Ukrainian army’s fire.
The village of Elenovka was shelled with 122mm guns during the day. There is no information on destructions and victims.
The situation is tense on the Mariupol direction of the front. During the day, the Ukrainian army shelled the villages of Leninskoye, Sakhanka, and Kominternovo in the Novoazovsky district of DPR.
During the past day, March 27th, the Ukrainian side violated ceasefire 68 times. 7 houses in the village of Yasnoye, one house in Dokuchaevsk, and one house in the village of Trudovskiye in the Petrovsky district of Donetsk were damaged as a result of the shelling.
