Ukrainian army shelled a number of DPR communities, there are victims

The Ukrainian army shelled a number of towns and villages along the whole contact line; there are victims among the civilians, a source in the Donetsk People’s Republic People’s Militia (DPR PM) informed a Rossa Primavera News Agency reporter on March 10th.

During the day, the Ukrainian military opened fire on the suburbs of Gorlovka several times. As a result of the attack, 4 houses were completely destroyed and another 4 were damaged in the village of Zaytsevo and in the Nikitovksy district of the city.

The situation remains tense on the Donetsk direction. The Ukrainian army shelled the northern and western suburbs of the capital of the Republic including the villages of Krutaya Balka, Spartak and Yakovlevka, the area of Avdeevka industrial zone, the area of “Volvo-Center”, the villages of Staromikhailovka, Aleksandrovka, and Luganskoye. In the Petrovsky district of Donetsk, electric power was lost in the village of Trudovskiye. In the evening, Ukrainian military opened fire on the village of Donetsk-Seversky in the Yasinovatsky district. As a result of the attack, 2 residents, 65 year-old man and 19 year-old girl, were injured.

South of Donetsk, Elenovka and Dokuchaevsk came under Ukrainian artillery fire.

On the Mariupol direction, the villages of Kominternovo and Leninskoye in the Novoazovsky district of DPR, as well as the village of Sosnovskoye in the Telmanovsky district, came under fire. Over 100 subscribers were left without electricity and gas supply in Kominternovo. DPR maintenance crews restored the infrastructure.

During the past day, March 9th, the Ukrainian army violated ceasefire 71 times. Ukrainian army opened fire with heavy artillery 71 times, with tanks 46 times, with mortars 133 times, with infantry fighting vehicles 78 times. Anti-aircraft guns, grenade launchers, and small arms were used 523 times.
