The situation remains tense on the Donetsk direction. The Ukrainian army shelled the northern and western suburbs of the capital of the Republic including the villages of Krutaya Balka, Spartak and Yakovlevka, the area of Avdeevka industrial zone, the area of “Volvo-Center”, the villages of Staromikhailovka, Aleksandrovka, and Luganskoye. In the Petrovsky district of Donetsk, electric power was lost in the village of Trudovskiye. In the evening, Ukrainian military opened fire on the village of Donetsk-Seversky in the Yasinovatsky district. As a result of the attack, 2 residents, 65 year-old man and 19 year-old girl, were injured.

Essence of Time. Chapter 1

I want to begin “Essence of Time” with figuring out what the essence of our time really is. Conversations about time are a well known and key component not just of historical literature, but also of fiction and philosophical literature. I could also add the New Testament here, because it is here where it is said, “But this is your hour, and the power of darkness”. I wish to discuss, first and foremost, the degree to which the time which we live in is catastrophic.
