After the end of the Normandy Four meeting in Berlin, the intensity of shelling of frontline areas of DPR decreased. Ukrainian army continues to deploy nationalist units, foreign mercenaries and heavy weaponry at the frontline.
During the evening Ukrainian military started shelling Zaytsevo village by tank guns, mortars, grenade launchers, they also fire small arms. The situation near Shyrokaya Balka is also tense.
The enemy fired at Yasinovataya, Avdeevka industrial zone, as well as Staromikhailovka, Trudovskie and Aleksandrovka villages on the outskirts of the capital by mortars, IFV guns, grenade launchers and small arms. An apartment building is damaged in Yasinovataya.
DPR recon discovered at least one battery of 152mm “Akatsiya” self-propelled artillery guns (SPG) on the territory of “Kleban-Byk” nature reserve. In the same area, near Kurdiumovka village, up to an artillery division of “Akatsiya” SPGs were discovered. Up to two tank platoons and SPG battery were spotted in Dzerzhinsk. A group of up to a company, presumably, Polish mercenaries, arrived to Shyrokaya Balka area. Residents of occupied Verkhnetoretskoye village were forced to house a company of “Right Sector” militants. Positions of a platoon of 120mm mortars were registered on the occupied territory near Dokuchaevsk.
According to updated information, on October 23 Ukrainian army violated the ceasefire 230 times, including 111 by artillery. Zaytsevo, Avdeevka industrial zone, Staromikhailovka, Trudovskie, Aleksandrovka, Dokuchaevsk outskirts, Kominternovo and Sakhanka were shelled.
