On the night of January 29th, Kiev junta’s punitive forces shelled the territory of Donetsk airport and “Volvo-Center” area, according to the source in the Defense Ministry of Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Donetsk News Agency reports today.
“The shelling of the airport began at about 21:00. After a while, “Volvo-Center” was also under fire of Ukrainian groups,” the spokesman said to the Agency.
According to the source, the enemy shelled from Ukrainian positions in Peski and Opytnoe villages using mortars, infantry fighting vehicles (IFV), grenade launchers, and small arms.
DPR Ministry of Defense reported that yesterday Ukrainian punitive forces fired 148 shells at the front-line territories of DPR: by tanks, 82mm and 120mm mortars, IFV, anti-tank guided missiles, grenade launcher and small arms.
On December 22nd 2015, the Contact Group in Minsk called the parties of the conflict to establish the full and unconditional cease-fire in Donbass from 00:00 of December 23rd 2015. Nevertheless, attacks on the DPR territory did not stop for a single day.
