According to Donetsk People’s Republic army reconnaissance, an armed clash erupted between Ukrainian army marines and extremist “Azov” regiment militants, said DPR Deputy Defense Minister Eduard Basurin during his daily briefing in Donetsk News Agency press-center. Two marines were murdered during the shootout, another three were wounded.
“According to medical workers of local hospitals, two 36th marine brigade are dead, three wounded, after a shootout with “Azov” regiment nationalists,” said Basurin.
He emphasized that the commanders of the so-called “Anti-terrorist operation” (the way Kiev junta refers to the war in Donbass – Editor) try to present the human losses among the Ukrainian military as victims of the shelling by Donetsk People’s Republic.
