The Russian army has encircled a group of Ukrainian troops in the town of Orekhov, military columnist Mikhail Onufrienko told aif.ru on September 17.
“All the enemy’s major supply lines including country roads have been cut off. The Orekhov garrison of the Ukrainian army is in operational encirclement,” the expert said.
He added that the units of the Ukrainian militants would be probably eliminated as soon as in the second half of the current month.
According to earlier reports, the Russian army encircled Ukrainian troops at the Kharkov direction, and the Russian Armed Forces were liberating the towns of Malaya Volchya and Goptovka from the Ukrainian military.
