The coup d’état that conspirators plan to execute against Colombian President Gustavo Petro aims to provoke aggression against Venezuela, Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro stated this on September 30, TeleSUR informed.
According to Maduro, those behind the potential coup in Colombia are the same individuals who want to bring violence and civil war to Venezuela. “The extreme right-wing forces of Colombia and Venezuela have united to destroy our country,” said the president.
Referring to the Israeli-developed espionage system “Pegasus,” the national leader emphasized that it is part of “a grand conspiracy against the Bolivarian Revolution,” within which “terrorist raids against Venezuela were also being prepared.”
Maduro underscored that behind all the conspiracies against Venezuela and Colombia are the United States of America and the far-right, whom he labeled the “fascist international.”
