Israeli Air Force airstrikes on the western districts of Damascus resulted in civilian casualties, with both dead and injured reported, Sham FM radio station informed on October 1.
According to the provided information, the attacks coincided with Israel’s military operation in southern Lebanon.
It was reported that Israeli aircraft launched missiles at the capital three times, resulting in fatalities and injuries.
One of the strikes caused a major fire in the villa area on Mezzeh Avenue, near Hadikat al-Faranseya Park. Firefighters and ambulances arrived at the scene, and a thick column of smoke was visible in the sky over western Damascus.
