Europe is slowly but steadily drifting towards fascism, and this is why the conflict in Ukraine was initiated, which is called “the Russian pot” in the West, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, political scientist and philosopher Sergey Kurginyan said on January 26 on the program Conversation with a Sage on the Zvezda radio station.
The discussion focused on whether Europe is capable for any actions after decades of sheltered life.
The philosopher stressed that the Europeans did not see any reasons to reject their sheltered life, and they remain confident that the US would fight for them. However, Europe is being informed that a militarization is necessary, especially if US ex-president Donald Trump comes back to power.
“Therefore, directly and steadily, although quite slowly, all this is drifting towards fascism,” Kurginyan believes.
In this context, the political scientist remembered his conversation with the ex-president of the USSR Mikhail Gorbachev long ago, who told him about his discussion with some members of the European elite. According to these officials, a conflict in Russia was necessary in order to make the European society leave its sheltered consumerist condition. The conversation took place in 1992.
“You are a clever man, Sergey Ervandovich,” he said. “And even quite willful. But back when you were kept leathering on your thesis in that Institute of Oceanology, I had a meeting in Paris with twenty two very clever and very influential people, and they told me, ‘Mikhail Sergeevich, Europe is dead (as you say sheltered), and it will remain dead until the Russian pot starts boiling,’” Kurginyan told.
Then, Gorbachev gave no details regarding where the “Russian pot” was supposed to be burnt, in Middle Asia, in the Russian Federation, or in Ukraine.
“I told him then,’What will be boiling in the Russian pot? Will it be shurpa, Russian shchi, or Ukrainian borscht?‘ Yes, I even mentioned borscht. He told me, ‘You are kidding, but I have warned you,’” Kurginyan said.
The philosopher explained that when the West supports neo-Nazism in Ukraine is exactly the “Russian pot.” Besides, the West controls the intensity of the conflict.
“The Russian pot has started boiling, and they keep certain temperature in it. They supply more weapons, and the temperature rises, if they supply less the temperature goes down. One configuration, another configuration. This is reminiscent of Shakespeare’s great play in which witches are cooking something in a pot, and one of them says, ‘I’ll give thee a wind.’ – ‘Thou’rt kind.’ This dark pot, it is starting to boil, it is already bubbling,” Kurginyan said.
According to the philosopher, the conflict in Ukraine will not be the end; a Middle Eastern pot will follow, then a trans-Caucasian one, and even a Far Eastern one.
