The Makeyev State Rocket Center (GRC), which is part of Roscosmos, is currently working on the concept of super-heavy launch vehicles for missions related to lunar exploration and flights to Mars, the enterprise’s press service said on September 13, TASS informed.
The center is also working on the concept of creating a multi-purpose hypersonic aircraft with a wide range of capabilities. An important area of work is the anti-asteroid project, which is currently relevant and of interest to the world community.
These developments are being carried out on a proactive basis and are aimed at expanding opportunities in space research and technological advances.
