05.07.2020, Moscow.

The DPR and LPR are in fact the territory of Russia and soon will become part of Russia legally, said the former head of the DPR Alexander Boroday (Aleksandr Boroday (friend of Strelkov and PR-consultant of the Russian oligarch Konstantin Malofeev. Strelkov also worked for Malofeev – editor’s note) at the VI Congress of the Russian Political Party Rodina [Motherland – Rossa Primavera News Agency] the press service of the organization Donbass Volunteers Union said on July 4.

Boroday said that since last spring the process of issuing Russian passports to the DPR and LPR residents was launched, so more and more DPR and LPR citizens become citizens of the Russian Federation.

Boroday expressed his gratitude to Russian President Vladimir Putin for this and said that “in a relatively short time, the Republics of Donbass will become not a de facto part of the Russian Federation, as they are already, but will become Russian de jure“.

Boroday was the head of the DRP Government from May 16 to August 7, 2014.

In July 2014, Boroday said in an interview with TASS Analytics that Maidan in Ukraine was an opposition revolt against Yanukovych, rather than a Nazi uprising. In the same interview, Boroday called “Russian patriots” those who “are actively interested in collaborationists and see World War II as a continuation of the Russian civil war… We are talking not only about General Vlasov, but also about such phenomena as the Lokot Republic, Kaminsky’s division and others. These are the ideals of some of the patriots“.

In July 2014, Boroday supported the actions of Igor Strelkov (Girkin), by order of whom on the night of July 4-5 the DPR militia left Slavyansk, Kramatorsk, Druzhkovka, Artemovsk and retreated to Donetsk and Gorlovka.
