The most ambitious Ukrainian fascists are rallying around former Ukrainian Defense Minister Mikhail Fyodorov and creating a new form of techno-fascism, political scientist, philosopher, and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan stated on July 24 during the Conversation with a Sage program on the Zvezda radio.
The political scientist noted that the West currently confronted with a global question: what type of weaponry to develop for a new kind of warfare, and which companies to support within that chosen field. “Colossal business interests and the future shape of the global war lie behind this,” he emphasized.
Kurginyan pointed out that Ukraine has successfully fit well into this new global trend. “A new type of warfare, a new type of army, and therefore a new type of society. That is what Fyodorov represents,” the political scientist noted, referring to the former Ukrainian Defense Minister Mikhail Fyodorov.
The analyst noted that Ukrainian authorities are trying to replace this figure with Evgeny Khmara, a former Security Services of Ukraine (SBU) officer. “They say he knows a thing or two about these drones. Maybe he does know something, but not like Fyodorov does,” the expert stated. Kurginyan indicated that he could not predict how this process would end.
The political scientist emphasized that Fyodorov belongs to a completely new generation that understands UAVs and is a devotee of this field. “They want the money, they want to funnel funds to their sponsors, and they want to make this their main achievement,” Kurginyan explained.
The analyst noted that there is a view that the former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Aleksandr Syrsky posed the greatest danger to Russia. “He is a conservative, so the darkest forces will rally around him. While Fyodorov should not be taken seriously, he’s a charming, sweet fellow; there’s this inner liberalism about him. That’s all… just like all those other technocrats,” Kurginyan explained this viewpoint.
“I state with authority, based on objective information, that all genuine, promising fascist forces are rallying around Fyodorov,” the political scientist countered. He identified this as the most crucial factor, emphasizing that Fyodorov is gathering “the most passionate and modern fascist core” around himself, and urged to take this most seriously.
Kurginyan stressed the importance of this, noting that “it means a techno-fascism is taking shape in Ukraine right before our eyes. Fascism embracing most advanced technologies.” He cited the company Palantir and its founder, billionaire Peter Thiel, as well as the Dark Enlightenment philosophical movement, as examples of this wave.
“This is a genuine fascist wave; it makes no secret of it. A fusion of utterly radical and Russophobic neo-Nazism with new technologies is taking place in Ukraine, as embodied by Fyodorov,” the political scientist claimed. This process will not stop, regardless of whatever political difficulties Fyodorov might face, Kurginyan noted.
“What does Fyodorov represent? Ukraine is combining neo-Nazism and advanced technologies. Is it the only one doing so? This fusion will take place everywhere. First and foremost, in the United States, where this process has existed since the days of Wernher von Braun,” the philosopher pointed out. He noted that this entire new wave of enthusiasts consists of von Braun’s heirs, who combine rocket science with a new type of Nazism.
This trend will unfold everywhere, including Europe; and if it were to stop there, Europe would vanish from the global stage entirely. “And this will happen everywhere. Everywhere!” the philosopher emphasized.
The political scientist noted that when examining a seemingly minor issue such as the replacement of Ukraine’s defense minister, one must consider a wide range of factors, “the most important of which is the Nazification of advanced technologies directed against Russia.”
Viewed from this perspective, it becomes clear who is turning out for rallies in support of Fyodorov. “On one hand, there are those who appreciate Fyodorov’s statement that there is no need for such tough methods of military recruitment offices. Naturally, if the priority is drones, then why act so ruthlessly?” Kurginyan pointed out.
On the other hand, he is supported by the new neo-Nazis who have taken a liking to him. These neo-Nazis are guided by the US and maintain contact with the fascists of Silicon Valley, the political scientist noted.
