After US’ failures in its war against Iran, anti-Israeli forces woke up in the US, which previously supported President Donald Trump but now they say they do not want to ‘pull the chestnuts out of the fire’ for Israel, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, philosopher and political scientist Sergey Kurginyan said on April 17 on the Conversation with a Sage program on Radio Zvezda.
The political scientist stressed that US’ and Israel’s failures in Iran are a blow on the US not only in terms of its image but also existentially and metaphysically. According to him, the insane US machine led by Donald Trump made a stake on power ignoring the fact that “spirit and power are in very complicated relations.”
Sergey Kurginyan noted that the US has more powerful weapons than Iran. However, according to him, “many circumstances related to mind and spirit arose, which made it possible for Iran to rebuff the ‘American gangster.’”
“If Iran had lied down, begun to cry, and behaved in a stupid manner, instead of demonstrating a brilliant military strategic, technical, and national thinking, then no circumstances would have come, and there would have been no discussion, and MAGA would not have started to fail. But when this aggression faced a rebuff suspending it all, it exposed very complicated processes in the US itself,” the leader of Essence of Time stressed.
Trumps received support on the elections from conservative forces, which are very complicated in the US, the analyst explained. Some of these forces are very pro-Israeli, e.g. Christian Zionists and more serious forces, which support Israel from the religious point of view.
“They believe that they have Biblical reasons to support it, that its victory must end with the coming of either Christ or Armageddon together with Christ, depending on one’s belief. But these are religious people with a totally non-secular idea of what Israel is,” the political scientist explained.
The analyst indicated that there is a Jewish lobby in the US, which is split into “a democratic one and a republican one.” The democratic one hates Israel, while the republican, i.e. conservative one is direct supporters of Israel.
The supporters of Israel, Kurginyan explained, were joined by Christian Zionists having nothing to do with the Jews, “which are obsessed with Israel not in a pragmatic or national manner, but in a manner that could be called deformed religious, which is of paramount importance for them.”
The military failures split Trump’s election basis into Israel’s supporters’ and opponents.
The anti-Israel, anti-Zionist, “anti-Semitic in their extreme form” forces from Trump’s election basis spoke about only one thing, “It is the Jews who corrupt Israel, but we want to create a Christian nation,” “this is why we do not like the Jews, but we will support Trump.”
Sergey Kurginyan stressed that until the US began to bomb Iran, the anti-Israeli forces remained under Trump’s heel. And it would have remained there if Trump had managed to win in Iran.
“But he had a great failure there. And then they woke up. And they said, we will not pull Jews’ chestnuts out of the fire. What is that Israel? Why do we need that war? We were against any wars…” the political scientist explained the sentiments of the anti-Israeli forces.
