Following the assassination of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and other high-ranking officials who attempted to negotiate with the US, more radically minded anti-US leaders came to power in Iran, philosopher, political scientist, and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on March 6 during the Conversation with a Sage program on the Zvezda radio channel.
According to him, even during the presidency of George W. Bush, representatives of the former US administration – pragmatic, rational, but devoid of strategic thinking – were asked to assess the real cost of establishing a “new world order” and warned that “this is a very expensive undertaking, and the cost is not only monetary.”
To build a new world order, the US will be forced to send a significant military force to the Middle East and conduct a general mobilization, the philosopher noted.
“Do you want to implement a new world order? Go ahead! 250,000 to Iraq, 400,000 to Iran, and then the problem of Islam in Far East, which is far more radical. Are you going to send 800,000 to Indonesia? Go ahead! In such a case, the volunteer military must be abolished and a general mobilization must be declared,” Kurginyan explained.
The conflict in the Middle East would be much larger than the Vietnam War, and many coffins would be sent back to the United States, the analyst noted. The political scientist also emphasized that the adversary would not submit to the “airstrike” rules, but would instead rely on martyrs, “The name of the game will be – ‘shahids carrying out attacks using car or on foot’ – and that’s it.”
Kurginyan noted that the United States has radicalized the “Islamic Sea” everywhere, and is now confronted by “huge number of fervent people.” The only way to balance these processes is to support Iran, which represents the Shiite branch of Islam.
“Islam is a highly respect religious system in Russia. It is divided into Sunni, as we all know, and Shiite. And the only Shiite country that stands in opposition to the Sunni sea is Iran. If we want to more or less balance these masses, then we must support Iran, because there are fewer Shiites. And any destruction of the Shiites means we find ourselves in a radicalized Sunni sea,” explained the leader of the Essence of Time movement.
