Greenland is wanted by forces insisting that the era of democracy is over and that a pure technocracy must be established, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, philosopher and political scientist Sergey Kurginyan said on February 6 on the Conversation with a Sage program on Radio Zvezda.
According to the analyst, among those who say that the “great game” of the 21st century is going around the Arctic is conservative American politician Stephen Bannon, who has complicated relations with US President Donald Trump as he was his advisor during his first term and still remains in his team today.
“When forces that exist inside this Trump conglomerate are discussed, there are appropriate Christian conservatives gradually drifting from evangelism towards radical Catholicism. By the way, this is a very indicative drift. This is the first force,” Sergey Kurginyan said.
The political scientist noted that Bannon, under a strong impression of the works by Julius Evola, a friend of Himmler’s, who after the collapse of the Third Reich kept on working on the Fourth Reich, is a second force inside “Trumpism.” According to the analyst, Evola, who developed neo-fascism, is an absolutely iconic figure for Bannon.
“It is enough to take a look at 5-7 books by Evola to understand that this is exactly the key promoter of occult Hitlerism, which essentially appeared after May 9, 1945. There was no such a distinct occult Hitlerism before that. It was promoted by a number of persons, and the most powerful of them is definitely Julius Evola followed by Miguel Serrano, Savitri Devi etc., a whole group of people, and he is Bannon’s icon, and Bannon is the second force in the Trump team,” the political scientist said.
He reminded that Bannon was very close to Trump, and then they somewhat diverged, but now Bannon is again preparing to fight for Trump.
“And the third force, the darkest and largest one in terms of density multiplied by volume and money capitals, is of course the so-called ‘dark enlightment.’ This is the technocrats from the Silicon Valley and elsewhere. These are people who say that the era of democracy is over, and that a pure technocracy must be established as democracy is a bluff,” Sergey Kurginyan said.
The ideologists of the third force believe that power in technocracy must belong to those who combine advanced technology and money, and this power, in their opinion, must be absolute and totally non-democratic, the political scientist noted.
“And these ideas are much more Nazism-oriented than Bannon’s. A great deal more! Unlike Bannon, who controls certain group, these guys are really powerful! They are very big altogether. Who is talking about Greenland? It is them! It is them who need Greenland!” Sergey Kurginyan said.
According to him, of course, Trump wants to achieve some great victories, for example to annex some territories, but, firstly, he follows certain line, secondly, he is controlled by those who are the masters of this “Trumpism,” and thirdly, they are already investing money.
