Kurginyan explains why part of US elites hates Britain

A number of elite groups among the republicans in the US hate the UK and Europe, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, political scientist and philosopher Sergey Kurginyan said on December 13 on the Right to Know program on TVC.

“Every time Euro-Atlantic or Anglo-Saxon unity is discussed, I always point out the first emigrants who established the codes of the American elite,” the political scientist noted.

He reminded that the first to flee to North America were “the Jacobites, i.e. the supporters of the Stuarts, when the Hannover dynasty, whom they called a criminal German dynasty, began a massacre of the Catholics, the Stuarts.”

Kurginyan stressed that in the US this kind of highly elite groups still exist. He indicated that the first American leaders addressed the Stuart family with a proposition to establish a monarchy in America.

“The conflict was between the House of Orange and the Stuarts. And the republic was formed in a very complicated way,” the philosopher concluded.

“There are no migrants who would not hate the place they left. This applies to all of them including ours,” Kurginyan said. He noted that he was speaking about major social groups, but exceptions always exist.

The philosopher indicated Joseph Brodsky as such an exception. “Brodsky never said anything against the Soviet Union. For some reason he was expelled. But he was a very imperial kind of a person inside, a patriotic one etc.,” Kurginyan reminded.

“However, as clusters, as groups, any group that emigrated has to explain to itself why it left. And it left because it was shit here from which it left. But it longs to come back. And it has to repeat, ‘Shit! Shit!’” the political scientist said.

These elites feel the same towards Europe. “The republicans, unlike the democrats, desperately hate Europe. They believe that a president of Europe will come, and he will be the Antichrist,” Kurginyan stressed. He indicated that the republicans’ hatred has a religious nature.

“So please do not tell me about Euro-Atlantic solidarity of fraternal nations with common values,” the political scientist concluded.
