While combating migrants and canceling the traditional concept of the American “melting pot” US President Donald Trump offers no explanation how the overfed American society will go without migrants, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, political scientist and philosopher Sergey Kurginyan said on December 12 on the Conversation with a Sage program on Radio Zvezda.
Part of the Russian elite really wants to come to an agreement with Trump. However, an agreement with Trump does not mean an agreement with the West. Also, the American leader himself is in a very complicated situation. A bottleneck of his foreign policy is his migration strategy, with the American population used to having all the dirty and heavy work done by migrants.
Recently, the American society was absolutely different, and people normally had to overcome difficulties, work hard, and have large families. The situation around drugs, perversions, and overweight was absolutely different.
“If migrants are gone what will be instead? Are you going to fill the country with decent Protestants and farmers ready to fight for America any moment?” Kurginyan wondered.
The political scientist stressed that this will never happen, that kind of America is gone. Birth rate among the white population is low. As for US intellectual progress, it has always been due to migrants.
“The concept was that the situation in the whole world must be worse than here, and then you will have an inflow of money and people, be it Indians or whoever else, and they will run your computers,” the political scientist explained.
Thus, combating migrants Trump cancels the traditional US “melting pot” concept. But he does not explain what is to come instead. “It is not enough to say no to migrants. You have to have something to say yes to,” the philosopher explained.
Nevertheless, the US is more alive than Europe, Kurginyan noted. Its citizens are more religious. When they saw that the Democratic Party pursued a strange, anti-humane policy they elected Trump.
However, he will fail to fulfill his promises, and very soon the Republican supporters of Trump’s idea “Make America Great Again” will realize that Trump is not the one who can save them.
“The concept is simple: as soon as the US loses its carriers and money printing press it goes from the number one position not to the second but to the forth one” in economic capacity, the political scientist explained. He noted that for such an overfed country like the US a transition to the number four position is a social catastrophe.
“And when a social catastrophe takes place all this overfed population will make a hell of an outrage. And it will be armed. The black, the white, and whoever else,” Kurginyan said.
