A fundamental revision of military doctrines has taken place, and now everyone is getting prepared for a huge conventional war while Russia did not prepare itself for it, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, political scientist and philosopher Sergey Kurginyan said on December 12 on the Conversation with a Sage program on Radio Zvezda.
According to the analyst, major Western military corporations are now building zero cycles of facilities to produce huge amounts of conventional arms planning to construct plants and infrastructure.
“Those who invest so much expect to get some profit. But only a war can give profit, and it has to be a conventional war,” the political scientist noted.
He said that when he attended sessions of the Security Council before in various periods it was always said that if a confrontation between NATO and Russia took place the Russians would use nuclear weapons.
“However, everyone is getting prepared for a conventional, huge war. And the Russians are expected to fight using conventional arms, with huge land armies, with a tremendous production of shells, artillery, armed vehicles. And everything else. Including drones,” Sergey Kurginyan said.
Meanwhile, according to the political scientist, no one in Russia ever prepared for such a war, although in the West this revision is taking place quietly, in a low profile manner
“But this is an absolutely fundamental kind of a revision. Because you either have a compact land army, a sort of a large special operations force, to maneuver in crisis areas using quick strikes, or you have all this machine. But it cannot exist on its own. If this huge machine has to exist you have to have cadre divisions, training centers, and appropriate supplies. This is an absolutely different approach,” the analyst said.
